Feedback from people who took SalsaEddy's class...
" I've been taking classes with Salsa Eddy for almost three months and know more than when I went to another studio and took classes there for six months. I really like how he teaches. He's serious about teaching and wants to ensure that you're prepared for dancing at clubs. Yet, he's personable, funny and willing to answer questions. My brother is a salsero and used to teach salsa classes in another Texas city. He told me that many salsa teachers are a bit snobby. You won't get that from Salsa Eddy. When I told my brother how Salsa Eddy teaches, he approved. I even met a woman dancing who told me that she thinks that men who've learned with Salsa Eddy are better leaders than most all other studios in town. If you're looking for fun while learning to dance salsa, but also want to look good on the dance floor, you can't go wrong with Salsa Eddy at Houston Dance Factory. " - Josue
" Salsa Eddy at the Houston Dance Factory is a great dance instructor. I have never liked to dance because I have two left feet. Salsa Eddy has a system to teach dance that is easy to learn. He takes the time to teach his students, and really cares about teaching you to dance. After taking his first class, we are taking more classes. He makes learning fun and can even teach a guy with two left feet to dance." - Chris
" Eddy is a master at what he does and is always willing to share his passion for Latin music. He has an infectious attitude that can motivate anyone. Be prepared to laugh and have great time in his classes. If you're willing to let yourself go and meet new people, you're coming to the right place." - G.M.V.
" I had taken salsa classes from various instructors six months prior to Salsa Eddy. Up to that time I was unable to translate what we did in class on the dance floor. Problem: I didn’t know how to lead. Within a month Eddy fixed the problem. From that time on, I was able to dance with friends as well as ladies I had just met. Whatever you do, learning never stops and that process defies explanation. The ability to teach is the same way. Some have it, some don't. Eddy’s definitely got it. Two years later I’m still taking salsa lessons. Ain’t nobody I know can do a better job. Bravo Maestro!" - Mike
" He is very patient and works you thru each move, no matter how long it takes he doesn't get tired or frustrated. He has worked wonders on my dance moves. He also teaches you about rhythm which I really appreciated, staying on beat which was the hardest for me. He is very understanding about schedules and is willing to go the extra mile to meet you. Thank you Salsa Eddy, You really made me a very good dancer but will be great in the future!" - Sonny Jimenez
" I started taking salsa dance classes in January 2012 with Salsa Eddy... I love to dance, and I always wanted to learn salsa. Since my friend told me about it, I finally had the opportunity to do so. He is an amazing instructor, and you get a lot of practice in for an hour. It's a great workout and really fun. You don't need to have a significant other to join the class.
I started with the basic class in January... In order to move on up to the intermediate class, you have to know the basic steps (traditional, basic, basic turn, cross body lead, and counter clockwise). It's simple with plenty of practice, trust me! I'm now taking the intermediate class which is also for 4 weeks... If you're looking for something fun, exciting, and challenging to do, I definitely recommend taking salsa lessons with Salsa Eddy. Here's a link to the website: http://www.salsaeddy.com. You won't regret it!" - Chishinga C.

" I happened to find this dance school. Mr. Salsa Eddy is a very nice man. I definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to learn salsa. He is a DJ. He knows a lot of clubs. I got a couple of nice club information." - Mark T.
" I wanted to pick up a hobby with my boyfriend where we would both be coming into it clueless. I thought it would be fun to learn something together. I decided on salsa!
My boyfriend and I have been taking salsa lessons from Salsa Eddy over the last few weeks. My boyfriend (who I had to ask three times if he would puh-lease take salsa lessons with me), after the third week of class, suggested we continue through to the intermediate and advanced classes. Yes, and he knows that means an additional 12 weeks of salsa classes!!
I had a couple of friends recommend Salsa Eddy, and others who heard of him as well. It came out to $10/class - super cheap for the kind of one-on-one attention you receive in a group class.
He's extremely thorough in his teaching. Basically, if you come to class and practice a few minutes each day - you'll learn the steps. The pace is perfect for us - as we don't have dancing backgrounds. We stayed after for a sneak peak on what to expect in the intermediate class, and we got super excited.
Most of the people in class are not couples - so don't fear if you're a single. It's a really fun atmosphere and would recommend it to anyone (especially living in Houston, as salsa seems to be everywhere!)." - April C.

" I've been seeing Salsa Eddy on and off for 4 years now. He is truly a great teacher and with a great sense of humor. He pushes us to learn and to have fun. I like that I am challenged and not bored. Although I appreciate the social aspects of dance - Eddy actually goes beyond that to teach you important steps." - Amy O.
" Have taken both Bachata and Salsa classes with Salsa Eddy. My wife and I have learned a lot in a short period of time and we have made some good friends. Classes are very reasonably priced." - Dave T.
