I like your new method for giving out the videos so there is less back-leading.
One quick question: in the social setting what do you do(or tell) a dance partner when you don't feel the dance 'partnership' happening?
Personally, I simply avoid them the rest of the night (which I'm sure is mutual from their end), but don't want to offend too much as I'd like everyone to have a good Salsa experience. I've seen dances when they stopped mid dance and left or even gave a lecture on the dance floor.
Thank you. Please share this with other dancers too.
To answer your question, the best way to handle it is by doing the following...
1. Just say, "I'm sorry." But, always finish the song. Nothing more, nothing less.
2. You can avoid her but, don't make it so obvious.
3. Depending on the person, you can talk or joke about it.
I hope this help. Please, don't ever leave a person in the middle of a song or dance floor and never, never, never lecture the person, who came to have fun.
